The results of the Women and Social impact survey are in!

Firstly, I want to thank each and every woman who participated in our Women and Social Impact survey. Your contribution is valuable and learning about what you are passionate about and what inspires you, and the various ways you want to be part of making a difference inspires me. So, thank you very much!!

Secondly, if you have yet to contribute to our Women and Social Impact survey, I highly encourage you to and I invite you to take 3-5 minutes to share what is important to you about making a difference. Your voice and input are so appreciated and needed!

What motivates women to want to make a difference in the world?

  • 34% are motivated by personal values or beliefs

  • 30% by desire to inspire or help others

  • 12% family or cultural background

  • 11% social or environmental issues the affect them personally

  • 11% Wanting to leave a legacy

Majority of women want to make a difference in the world.

Have you ever participated in activities or projects that aim to create positive change?
53% of women have participated in activities or projects that aim to create positive change. While 42% of women occasionally do.

The impact most women would like to have:

  • 18% Gender equality and women’s rights

  • 17% Economic empowerment and poverty reduction

  • 15% Health and wellness

  • 14% Mental health and self-care

  • 14% Education and literacy

The types of activities women are most interested in to create change are…

Conducting this survey was important to me; to learn how much women want to make a difference and how being surrounded by a community of like-minded women is also highly important. I know it is for me!
